Anne Briggs is to make a rare public appearance to talk about life in the Scottish and London folk scenes with Bert Jansch in the 1960s.
As part of the Bert Inspired strand at Celtic Connections 2016, she will be interviewed by writer and broadcaster Pete Paphides following a screening of Acoustic Routes. This feature-length documentary love letter to Bert and the 1960s folk scene, filmed in 1992 and expanded in 2013, is presented by Billy Connolly and features Anne playing with Bert as well as many other folk luminaries.
Tickets for this exclusive event at The Glasgow Film Theatre on 31 January 2016, 2.30pm are on sale here. The screening and Q&A precedes the first night of Bert Inspired: a Concert for Bert Jansch in Glasgow.
