Compiled by Bernard Butler and the Bert Jansch estate, Just A Simple Soul is the first comprehensive Best Of collection spanning Bert Jansch’s 5-decade-long career.

Presented chronologically, the collection begins by drawing from Bert's prolific 1960s period, during which he released six albums between 1965 and 1969; the 1970s records start off the collection's second disc, running all the way to Bert's final studio album, The Black Swan, in 2006.

Just A Simple Soul comes in both CD and LP formats, with a limited-edition LP version with exclusive tote bag also available.
