A Rare Conundrum, the third part of Bert Jansch's mid-70s triptych, includes standout tracks 'Looking For A Home' and '3 A.M.', alongside the more familiar UK folk territory of 'The Curragh of Kildare' and 'Pretty Saro'.

Recorded at London's celebrated Air Studios, the production – steered by Jansch and new collaborator Rod Clements – has a wonderful lightness of touch.

Additional instrumentation comes from latter-day Pentangle member Mike Piggott, folk comptemporary Ralph McTell, and the go-to-percussionist of the era, Pick Withers.
