Beginning a the definitive collection of Bert Jansch’s later material, Living In The Shadows Part One comprises three of his studio albums from the 1990s: The Ornament Tree, When The Circus Comes To Town and Toy Balloon.

Alongside these is a 4th disc of unheard and unreleased material. These tracks—transferred from Bert’s own archives—were the subject of meticulous cataloging, with the resulting selection bringing demos, alternate versions and some very special, completely new tracks to the fore.
